In December I published my first book. Every step has been a challenge. It has been a long road and I suspect there’s an even longer road ahead.
The hardest part about writing is it is completely subjective. I can follow a formula, but that is no guarantee for a successful story. I have spent countless hours writing this first story–unfortunately quality is not reflected by quantity. I wanted it to be finished so many times, but there was always something else to improve or expand on. Several times in the process I said it was complete… fortunately my stubbornness was always short lived and I continued with new drafts after new drafts.
The publishing process on Amazon was relatively straight forward, so comparatively that was an easy part.
Now, I have to reach out beyond my limited social bubble. A big part of this is with the help of readers sharing my story, the other part of this is growing a following through social media. I also plan to drop off random signed books in places in what I call: #AnterraAtLarge
